Oy. Done a lot. learned a lot. The pirates on this ship, their trainer has been training me every night. Getting very tiring. Seeming as if I gained seasons in one night. *Phew" So tired.

Learned a new recipe today. Mmmmmm Sea urchin stew. Yummy. Also cooked some Hynid meat. One of the pirates forages. And he found some. Very good of him.

Well, I'm soo tired I feel like sleeping in pudding.

Ship is fine now. Had to check it over again before any more leaks sprung. Everything seems okay, and checked it out. I saw he men making a congealed honey substance and applying it to the cracks. I had to follow them closely so that I could clean it up. Those fools are going to attract mice to the ship when we port next plunder.

I can't imagine the next time we ported, and rats boarded the ships. These buggers are a bunch of scaredy cats. If they had rats nibblin at their toes, they'd be jumpin up and shriekin. I don't mind myself a good rat. They make good pets. Very affectionate. Long as you send em off to a cleric first, healed of all diseases and curses, ye'll be fine.

Ah well. I hope to be finishing plans for the party for Halloween soon. It shouldn't take te long. Ah well. Off to bed I go.

Oy Oy Oy. Oy. The ship sprung a small leak today. Bastards. Bloody blood bloody bastards. It took forever to fix. the gushing water at my sides made me feel as if this would be my last moment. And to top it all off, I got my leggings wet. And the sailors were bloody cowards too. Afraid of a little cold water. After I yelled at them, though, they seemed to warm up to the idea of fixing the boat. I think the fact that a woman was yelling at them to buck up got to em. I don't know how the leak happened. We check this ship for leaks morning and night. We make sure everything will be fine. But it did. And it took forever to get the bloody boat empty of water again. Luckily, leak was rather small, and we caught it early. If we didn't, the hole could have gotten large pretty quickly.
Otherwise, it was a good and borin' night.

Today has been much boredom. Nothing to do. Just out in the open sea. Waiting to reach land. I seem to be getting better at fishing. in fact I know I am. I got a sackload of trout today. Fed the entire ship. the men seemed happy at that. There is only one other woman on this ship. Seems to me, they enjoy having a woman, for more reasons than one. Many think pirates to be dirty folk. I can attest to you, that these men tend to be a lot cleaner than the gentlemen one sees in the streets of Qeynos, Erudin or Felwithe. perhaps, it is because there are women on this ship. perhaps it is one of the rigorous rules she has set in store for the men, the other woman that is. They definitely like having me, because I cook a hell of a lot better than they do. Though to tell the truth, I learned my cooking on this ship, but I learned it from the Captain's wife, the First Mate. She's a mighty good cook. Expert I say. She learned probably from all those times she had to scrounge around for scraps and cook from what she could manage to scratch up. Problem is, she can't cook every night, sowe tend to switch off. Sometimes we both make meals. That's when we catch an abundance of foods, or get a lot of meat on a hunting trip. Or catch seagull. *big grin* I love to take those sucker's down. They are the reason it's called a poop deck.

The captain is a friend of mine, and he runs the ship with his wife. Their little sprout runs around the ship as well, brandishing wooden daggers and threating to cut out our livers. Reminds me of me as a young one. I remember months ago I sent him a small panther carving I made, a large ruby and emerals set in the cat. Mother and Father have the gems, while the child plays with the cat. It's how I wanted it. I remember when this family was struggling on streets begging for money. One day, I told them to follow me, and they did, and I helped, "procure" this ship for them. They took to the life of being pirates rather quickly. And I helped make a name for them. To be a captain you must seem fierce. At first, at least, in order to be respected. Your mates can know you to be kind later on, but is good for them to learn respect at the beginning. Anyways, so these people are good people, and it does me good to help them on their way. Way i figure it, we get some riches now, then they will be able to be set for life, and their children's life. Some people want to get rich for themselves, these people want to get rich for their future generations. Don't want life to be hard for their descendents as it was for them, so to speak.

*shrug* Gettin late, should be sleeping, but something in me was restless to log. second entry, but I feel as if I have to talk. Getting bored conversing with only the men, though they are enjoyable in their own rights.

Aye. it was a hard days work today. Sent a letter out to my sister, yet again. She still is asking for apologies from that time I was on boat leave and did not tell her. She was rather upset I went to a joust rather than coming to see her. but come on! there were horses! Could she really blame me for wanting to see horses? First thing I do when getting on dry land is to get meself a horse. It's been nothing about plundering on the high seas. the men seem to enjoy my company. Of course.... *laugh* I enjoy their company as well. *grin*. I've been getting them a lot of jewels. As a rogue, I get to use my thieving prowess to its fullest extent.

Anyways. Did much tday. Killed a seagull. Ate it. it was good. The men seemed to enjoy seeing me shuriken that sucker down. Well, it's my turn to swab the deck this evening. Off to go do it.
